ADVENTIST YOUTH MINISTRIES
East-Central Africa Division is a “Youthful Division” because more than 70% of its worshippers (not necessarily baptized members) are youths under 30 years of age. Adventist Youth Ministry in this Division is busy training the youths to work for other youths; recruiting them to help their church, and sending them out to work for those who are not of our faith. We promote different platforms the youths can engage themselves to study the Word together, to fellowship together and to act together in small groups.
Adventurer Club
The Adventurer Club is a Seventh-day Adventist church-sponsored ministry open to all children ages 4-9, in which the church, home, and school join together to help children grow joyfully in wisdom and stature and in favour with God and man.
Pathfinder Club
The Pathfinder Club is a church-centred spiritual-recreational-activity program designed for young people 10 to 15 years of age. Pathfinder appeals to this age group because its program features activities that meet their needs and interests.
Ambassador Club
The Ambassador Club exists primarily to provide Senior Youth (16-21) with an organized structured system that will promote active involvement of its membership in their church (local and global) as well as their community while providing them with opportunities to discover their God-given talents and life vocation
Young Adults Club
Engages the vitality of a generation sharing their living relationship with Jesus in work and life, recognizing the diverse demographic from those in education or work, married or single, and probably parents.
AYM LEADERS AND COMMITTEES
Each club has its leader. We have Adventurer Director, Pathfinder Director, Ambassadors Leaders, Young Adults Leader and Public Campus Ministries Coordinator. Each leader is responsible for his/her club and reports directly to the Church Board. All these five leaders are members of the church board. We do not have the overall one person with a title of a “Youth Leader” in the local church.
