At its core, ATS–Africa emphasizes technology in service of mission. The Seventh-day Adventist Church is called to proclaim the gospel using every appropriate and ethical means available. When guided by faith, integrity, and sound governance, technology becomes a powerful enabler of evangelism, education, healthcare, administration, and stewardship.
The congress affirms the Church’s commitment to:
Responsible and ethical use of technology
Protection of people, systems, and data
Capacity building and professional development
Innovation that remains firmly mission-driven
ATS–Africa reflects a shared continental vision; one where technology professionals across Africa collaborate, support one another, and contribute meaningfully to the mission of the Church in an increasingly digital world.
The congress is expected to help shape a coordinated and forward-looking approach to technology that will serve the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Africa for years to come as we look forward to the soon coming of our Lord and savior.
