The East-Central Africa Division (ECD) wishes to inform its members and the wider Church family that Pastor Blasious Ruguri, President of the Division, has announced his decision to retire from active church service, effective December 31, 2026.

The East-Central Africa Division expresses its sincere appreciation to Pastor Ruguri for his years of dedicated service to the Church and his leadership in advancing its mission across the Division. We recognize with gratitude his commitment, contributions, and faithful ministry, and we pray that God will continue to bless him and his family as he enters this new chapter of his life.

Following this announcement, the arrangements for the transition of leadership will proceed in accordance with the Church’s established procedures. Pastor Ruguri will continue to serve in his current capacity until the formal transition takes effect.

We invite our Church family across the Division to receive this announcement with prayer, grace, and a spirit of unity. As we move through this transition, may we remain steadfast in our shared commitment to advancing God’s mission throughout the East-Central Africa Division.

We thank you for your continued prayers, support, and faithfulness as we move forward together in service to God and His Church.
